Ocean Shores Declares Emergency After Erosion Control Fails
During the December 12th wind storm, large waves and high tides ripped open the geotubes that served as protection from erosion for a number of homes and condos in Ocean Shores. Ocean Shores Mayer Crystal Dingler, has declared an emergency and is appealing to the state for assistance.

Mudslide Claims Home in Old Clinton
In result from the December 12th wind storm, a “heavy soup” of clay and mud began collecting initially behind the house, then migrating inside and covering the floors with 
up to 8 inches of mud. The slide occurred last Sunday on Campers Row Walk. No injuries were reported.
