On March 25, CHRN members Jamie Mooney (WSG) and Jessie McGrath (WA Dept. of Ecology) presented on the Washington State Coastal Hazards Resilience Network for the 2015 Pacific Risk Management 'Ohana in Honolulu, Hawaii.  The presentation provided an overview of the development and management of the CHRN, focusing on "enhancing socio-economic resilience and recovery through community based networks" (PRiMO session title). The presentation also included an overview of the issues in SW Washington communities, specifically highlighting those of Ocean Shores and Washaway Beach. This was followed by a list of best practices for the audience to take home and apply toward the development of their own networks.
